Grievance Redressal Systems
The following mechanisms are available for the public to submit grievances and get redressal regarding services in Panchayats in Kerala:
- For the People: This portal helps citizens file complaints regarding services provided by Local Self Government Institutions and track the action taken online.
- Online Public Grievance Redressal: You can register complaints online through the official Public Grievance Redressal Mechanism of the Panchayat Department, which also provides details of officials across various offices.
- Panchayat Office (Direct Submission): You can submit written complaints directly to the Panchayat Secretary or the concerned section clerks. Complaint boxes are also installed in Panchayat offices for this purpose.
- Social Audit and Grama Sabha: Lapses in services, project implementations, and development activities of the Panchayat can be discussed and resolved in Grama Sabhas and ward meetings.
Additionally, during emergencies or when high-level interventions are required, services of the Local Self Government Department and the Chief Minister's Grievance Redressal Cell can also be utilized.
